The Body Resilient, presented by Dance Visions NY in collaboration with the Friends of Cedarmere, outdoors at Cedarmere Preserve, in Roslyn Harbor, NY on Sept 20, 2025. With Dance Visions NY under the direction of Beth Jucovy with dancers Louisa Armstrong-Harrison, Emily Butera, Tyler Brunson, Abby Dias, Patrec-Alexander Jones-Brown, Beth Jucovy, Anne Parichon-Buoncore, Susan Steinman and Lexi Sim. Live music: Rose Gunter, Stewart Waters, Peter Greico, Patrec-Alexander Jones-Brown and Farah Chandu and Willow Interfaith Women's Choir. The event also included a visual art showing coordinated by Marc Josloff. The event, a "vision of art for healing," was made possible through two grants for Dance Visions NY: Dance Visions NY is supported by Long Island Grants for the Arts through funds provided by the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, and administered by The Huntington Arts Council. and A grant from the Malaika Amon and Anthony Bregman Foundation. The event was in honor of Adrienne Ramm and her artistic legacy as well as an expression of the personal and global challenges we all face as we navigate our lives in the present time. It includes timeless works of Isadora Duncan that are of particular relevance to this theme as well as new works by Beth Jucovy and company dancers Louisa Armstrong-Harrison, Tyler Brunson, Abby Dias, Susan Steinman and the musicians. This event was part of the UNGA Healing Arts Week 2025 initiative.
