Program about the modern dance pioneers and the development of modern dance in the US throughout the 20th century. With and actress-narrator, slides and dancers performing authentic works of modern dance pioneers as well as new works inspired by their visions. This Long Beach Library program includes works of Isadora Duncan, Doris Humprey, Charles Weidman, Anna Sokolow and Catherine Dunham and new works by Andrew Jannetti, Beth Jucovy and others.
